I have recently been diagnosed with Sjogren's and I started this diet, but I'm too afraid not to take my meds because it was ruining my life. I've been on the diet about a month and I have to say, of all the diets I've tried, it's actually been one of the easiest for me to stay on! I much prefer The Body Ecology Diet but certainly do what your doctor is suggesting! I do think you will notice you feel better while eating more healthily. HappyLady Posted July 20, 2012 Share Posted July 20, 2012 I don't know if this will help you or not, but Venus Williams has the same condition as you and she switched her diet to a raw vegan diet and claims she's never felt better. I actually did the body ecology diet last year. It was WAY too difficult for me. I really struggled with it. The only thing that keeps me going on McDougall's diet is the carbs! It really curbs the sugar cravings and I think as long as I keep it as whole grain as possible, it stays healthy.
