besroma
Ctrl Shift and the letter "P" simultaneously--won't leave cookies on your computer Does this work on smart phones also? Do you reverse this when using a site that requires cookies (banking, etc.)?
milovany
I started using Goodsearch (powered by Yahoo) several years ago because every search you do with them generates $.01 for the charity of your choice. Avoiding Google is just a nice side benefit. :D
besroma
I should add that I'm not trying to hide anything. I just find it annoying that whatever I search for starts popping up on advertisements on every page, and there is speculation that Google is collecting a lot of different kinds of information.....not just information for advertising. I don't have a SP. There was a thread a while ago about internet privacy. I will try to find it.
