MeganW
Lots of complaints on Amazon about quality - if you have a copy you like, would you tell me who the publisher is? Or can you offer comments in general about the quality of - Yesterday's Classics - Dodo Press - Book Jungle THANKS! librarymama
I have the free Kindle edition: http://www.amazon.com/Fifty-Famous-Stories-Retold-ebook/dp/B004TPGBK0/ It has a linked TOC and is perfectly readable to me. Spacing is good and I can change font size/style like other Kindle books. Lack of a linked TOC is the main complaint I see with public domain kindle copies usually, so it is nice that this version has it.
Amy Jo
Everything I've gotten from Yesterday's Classics (hardcopy & ebook) has been excellent. I highly recommend them. (The owner also does the Baldwin Project at mainlesson.com - a great resource so I'm happy to support her.)
Kfamily
We have the Yesterday's Classics version and many others from this site. We love all her books.
HappyGrace
We have the Yesterday's Classics version and many others from this site. We love all her books. :iagree: BTW, these are GREAT for beginning narrating! Ds is just starting w/ narrating and you can even break each story into smaller chunks to narrate if needed. sleeplessnights
I always get the Yesterday's Classics versions. Their formatting and print size is great. And the added benefit is that all of their books are the same size (looks good on bookshelves)!
