Mandylubug
Today is day 1 week 1. I don't want to over do but I want to lose weight. 50 lbs to be exact. I am considering a yoga video tonight, tomorrow a 30 minute walk, strength training video and cutting the grass, next day will be day 2 week 1 run/walk routine again and perhaps yoga again.. Does that sound like too much?
snickelfritz
I don't think it's too much, but listen to your body. If I dropped anything, it would be the extra walking. I think the yoga, weights, grass cutting, etc... are important cross-training exercises.

Beth S
No, but the main, constant temptation is to quit. Maybe doing something Every Single Day (making it a top priority) will bring a lasting change! I'm just back from "wogging", the Walk/Jog that is the Couch25K. I'm always happy when I'm FINISHED!! :001_smile: Just wanted to quickly encourage you to Go For It! My DH is going to make it his priority to work out with me as well. We did our "wog" first thing before breakfast.
Mandylubug
Had a good first day I believe. I just finished an hour of yoga :) in addition to my 60/90 jogging intervals earlier.
