hsbaby
So, we decided to get some guinea keets to help control our tick population. They are only a few weeks old. This will be our first time raising, well, anything! I know I need to get a heat lamp and a cardboard box/Tupperware, but what else should I get? I'm heading up to the store this afternoon. Any other tips?
fairfarmhand
I've never raised gunieas, but I don't think that at the chick stage they are much different from chicks. you will need chick starter, some sort of bedding (pine shavings here), chick feeder and waterer and the heat lamp. There's more information on raising chicks on my blog, in my siggie.

bagel270
If they are a few weeks old they are probably ready or almost ready to go outside. You may not need a heat lamp anymore.
