K&Rs Mom Posted June 7, 2012 Share Posted June 7, 2012 What do you do with your stuff during a race? I can leave my wallet in the car, but do I have my keys jingling in my pocket? It's not a competitive race, just a family fun 5K, but it's on a night dh is traveling so just me & dc. Unscripted Posted June 7, 2012 Share Posted June 7, 2012 I tie my key fob to my shoe lace. My actual ignition key is pretty long and flops everywhere on my shoe. I used to remove the one key and slide it in my iPod armband thingy- behind the phone. But I don't use a shell on my phone anymore- and I worry about damaging it somehow doing that now. NorthwestMom Posted June 7, 2012 Share Posted June 7, 2012 Frequently there will be a "gear check" area where they will give you a bag to put in extra jackets, keys, whatever.
