scrapbookbuzz
How to Train Your Dragon? My son is almost 8yo and finally picked this up to read on his own ( it was a Christmas gift). What would you say the reading level is?
paceofnature
I usually use Scholastic Book Wizard, and it says Grade Level Equivalent of 5.7.
mc26
MY 3rd grade DS just read it for a book report and our school librarian said it was somewhere around a 6th grade reading level. It is a very cute series!
scrapbookbuzz
Guess I've forgotten what I read in 5/6 grade. Just seemed like an easier read than that. Thanks for your input!
scrapbookbuzz
By the way, my son is REALLY enjoying this series. :^)
courtney.byrum
DS loves that series - he has read them all and is eagerly awaiting the next one. I think they are in the 4th-6th range but it's different depending on where you look. AR bookfinder puts it at 6.6 with the other books ranging from 6.4-6.9 Scholastic says 5.7 but age range 8-
