garddwr
I've been looking for resources to help my kids learn the Arabic alphabet, and I found this site with lots of cute printables. I just printed out the Arabic Alphabet Train to put on our wall. Just thought I would share for anyone else who is interested! There are coloring pages, wall posters, and handwriting pages. ETA: If anyone else knows of some great resources online please share.
Yenisei
Great resource, thanks. Your children might enjoy a foam mat letters or a wooden puzzle of the letters- my daughter learned the Arabic and Latin alphabets using them and written material at around 16 months of age. garddwr
Funny experience the other day: I was on the phone with my sister and she was telling me how her 2 year old loves the alphabet and is already writing the letters. I realized that my (almost) 2 year old has had almost no exposure to the English alphabet--but he loves to stand in front of the arabic alphabet train in our hallway and have me sing the song and point to the letters. He likes Chinese characters as well. I've since repented and found some wall space to put up my English alphabet cards:D. My poor kids are growing up in such a strange household...
