MrsMe
When we look at what someone else has or where they live, we see it through the no-stress eyes. We don't live there, so we don't see all the things that need to be done or haven't been done. We look at it as "done" and stress-free! But we don't look through the same eyes at our own place or things. Have you ever left for a few weeks, for vacation and come back and find out it's not so bad? I have. But then it still doesn't help that I want that cute white picket fence and all the flowers on some rolling green acres, with shady trees and a babbling brook, in a farmhouse that needs no work, that has a lot of character....ACK......back to earth. Little Nyssa
:grouphug: Chris :grouphug: When I feel like that, I like to sit down and take stock. Me, I make lists. What are the things in my life I am happy about? What are the things I don't like? Can I change them? Is there some way that good can come out of them? Or, do I just need to chalk them up to "God is doing something, and he must have a plan, but for right now I can't see it." I don't see any point in making yourself feel a false gratitude for things you are not happy about. PM me if you want-- you might recall we PM'd once when you were deciding what to do about that class you were thinking of taking.
