momto2Cs
I read about this in the local newspaper yesterday, and thought it might make a good addition to homeschooling! http://www.youtube.com/schools It filters YouTube results to those that are appropriate for learning. You do need to sign up with your google account, or create one, but looks intriguing!
3peasinapod
This is really cool! I don't like having inappropriate suggested videos pop up on the sidebar when watching YouTube videos with the girls. Even if I prewatch them, there are always those pesky recommendations. cholderby
Thank you! We had a horrible YouTube experience with a sexually explicit video meant for kids and I have blocked it completely. there are plenty of times when I know something on YouTube would enhance our learning. jetted4
Has anyone managed to set this up successfully? I set up a YouTube acct then used it to try to set up a YouTube for Schools acct but after I filled in all the info I got an error (500 Internal Server Error). momto2Cs
I got the same error, and gave up, but then when I tried again, I was able to log right in with the account I had tried to set up!
