3in9th
Hi! I'm looking for some sort of packaged curriculum for my son. We love History Odyssey (plus related educational videos), but I don't have much going on for the literature and language arts side other than the books HO suggests. So, not much on the setting, character, etc. side of literary analysis. Does anyone know of a curriculum that provides language arts curriculum in line with a chronological study of history? (I've looked into Lightning Literature, but we're past Medieval, but before 19th century.) Also integrated art/art appreciation and music? Thanks in advance! Lily_Grace
Perhaps Winter Promise? They have a Royals and Revolutions theme set that might work for you.
Farrar
The most integrated curriculum I know of is Moving Beyond the Page, but it's not chronological at all - it jumps all over the place.
Mommyfaithe
I am not sure integrated curricula work very well....something is ALWAYS lacking. Maybe, add in CLE reading, or the WTM reading lists with WTM lit analysis questions and notebooks etc.

So, you are wanting to continue with history odyssey, but add a literature program that uses whole books, is coordinated with your history, and includes literary analysis? What grade? Maybe SMARR, but that is high school. If you are happy with everything, but just want to add some information about literary terms, Figuratively Speaking says it is for grades 5-8.
