fraidycat
If using CWP as a supplement for MM & BA and I get the Singapore Ipad app, would I still need to get the CWP book, as well?

fraidycat
I just searched for Singapore Math in the app store. It is a bar model app for solving word problems. Right now, I just have the "lite" version to try it out before I pull the trigger. I'm hoping somebody who has both can answer my original question. lindsrae
I'm a bit confused...if you are using CWP to supplement, do you still need the CWP book? Is that what you are asking, in essence? The app is great, but not the same as the book.
fraidycat
I'm a bit confused...if you are using CWP to supplement, do you still need the CWP book? Is that what you are asking, in essence? The app is great, but not the same as the book. That is what I was asking. Yes, I feel DD needs more work on word problems, so am considering CWP. There are some on the app, but didn't know how in depth the app was compared to the actual book as I've never actually seen a CWP book. Maybe I'll just get the full app version for now then re-evaluate in a month or so and see if we need to add the book at that time.
Rosie
Have you seen this? http://www.thinkingblocks.com/index.html It might be better than the app. Not sure....
