MamaSheep
Ds found out today what happens when you accidentally set the microwave for nine minutes instead of ninety seconds, and then don't pay attention. We aired out the house quite thoroughly, but there is a lingering odor of smoke in the whole house. I sprayed an air freshener, and I simmered some orange peels and cinnamon on the kitchen stove. No dice. Anyone an expert at smoke removal?
Mommyof4ks
Open the windows and turn on the fans. It is annoying when that happens.
Reflections
If you can stand it - boil white vinegar in the micro for a minute or two and leave the bowl of it in the micro overnight. And if you can really stand it, boil the vinegar in a pot on the stove for a couple of minutes. If nothing else it will make you forget about the smoke smell.

MamaSheep
Open the windows and turn on the fans. It is annoying when that happens. They were open and on all afternoon. I guess I'll do it again tomorrow. And maybe try the vinegar...sigh...
Unicorn.
Put a bowl of baking soda in the microwave for a few days. As for the house....keep airing it out.
PrairieSong
Don't forget to wash all the soft stuff...curtains, tablecloths, throw rugs, etc.
