Dr. Denmark passed away.

I was sad to read that Dr. Denmark passed away. Here is an article.

 

I read some about her life and found her diet interesting. She drank a cup of hot water every morning with an egg and usually a banana. She didn't eat between meals (she said meals should be about 5.5 hours apart) and the other meals were usually a protein and a couple of vegetables and sometimes a fruit. I guess low carb is a good way to go if you want to live to be 114. I didn't find why she drank a cup of hot water. Does anyone know the benefit of that?
