SonshineLearner
I'd love a few to talk about co-op leadership.... offline :) Anyone wanna chat?? We have a great co-op... I don't even know how many students are attending right now.... But yours could be 4 families or 100. :)
inmyopinion
What did you have in mind?
SonshineLearner
Just thought it'd be fun to have emails going back and forth.... or something like that... for ideas... problems... thoughts.. :) But maybe not for the whole board to look at, so I can ask for help... without sharing info for the world to see.... (and others could do the same :))
Sarah CB
I'd love to be involved in that. My co-op had 63 students this year and we're looking at similar numbers for next year. I think chatting with other homeschool co-op leaders would be very valuable.
Bassoonaroo
PM me. I started a co-op a few years ago (we're finishing our fifth year) and will be stepping down as the coordinator because I need to focus a little more on my family and such. We have varied between 75 and 100 students (newborn through senior) and have had between 22 and 36 families.
mom31257
I direct a co-op, but it is purely enrichment. I don't know if that's what you are looking for or not. This session we have 65 kids (nursery - 12th grade) and 22 moms. We have classes for 3 hours, one day a week, a few weeks each school semester. This is our third year, 6th semester. PM me if you'd like my email address and to chat.
Rosy
You might consider starting a social group. My co-op has about 250 students. I'm not the director, but I have been in leadership for about 5 years. I'd be happy to give whatever input I can.
mom2att
I'm interested.
Prairie~Phlox
I'm the director of a co-op that is about 70 families. I'd be happy to answer questions. I have a board that I turn to when we have issues and to help with the workload.
SonshineLearner
So I revived a group I forgot I had started..... PM me if you'd like an invite. It's moderated and not public. I wanna be kinda careful who we have on... as... well... I want it kinda private :) Sarah... you were on before :) Should we make a day to check the group or something? Social groups seem to die after a while... because they don't pop in the threads spot. Eventually, it'd be nice if they showed new posts with all the other threads so they don't become forgotten :)
