momma aimee
The title says it all I am going to use D'Aulaires' Greek Myth book this fall, actually using my copy from my youth. Is there a Roman counterpart I did not find one searching D'Aulaires' name. I'd also like one on Eygyption Mythology. Suggestions?:bigear: Edited March 11, 2012 by momma aimee
SilverMoon
Roger Lancelyn Green writes Tales of Ancient Egypt, though it's a higher reading level than D'Aulaire.
BoZeeCo's Mom
There is a Norse counterpart, but I don't think there is a Roman.

Beth in SW WA
They aren't. Geraldine McCaughrean has an accessible collection of Roman myths (also published as The Orchard Book of Roman Myths). We read this along w/ her Greek Gods & Goddesses. In fact, we have GG & G checked out from the library now. Dd loves it. I have a Greek mythology pinterest board here.
