astrid Posted June 16, 2008 Share Posted June 16, 2008 My cousin and her husband are buying a new house in their town, following the total destruction of their previous home in a tornado a couple of weeks ago. We've been trying to wrack our brains to think of a housewarming gift for them, something unusual, something that's a reminder of what they lost, yet celebratory of their new home. Then last night I sat bolt upright in bed with an idea..... Remember this thread about the cool stove that she had in her old house? I'd love to find a copy of the original owner's manual, or a vintage advertisement for the range so I can frame it for her new house!
