Mandylubug
So, I am making my girls their own phonic flip book out of spiral bound index cards. I understand to put the vowels in the middle and consonants on the sides. I am wondering though, if anyone knows of a good list to look at when creating one of these. I am specifically looking at what blends to put in the consonant sides and the vowel center. I figured tr, sh, ch, bl, ck, oo, ee, ea, etc... ElizabethB
Thank you! You're welcome! I also recommend against the endings it or uck. I removed uck from the first from my game, but you can make several words that you may or may not want to explain to young children from it, so I dropped that as well a bit later.
