tntgoodwin
I am looking at purchasing a 32GB iPod Touch soon. Besides the Facetime feature, is there any meaningful difference between the 3rd gen and the current, 4th gen versions?
Dmmetler
You want something that can happily run the current version of apps and OS, so for future proofing, I'd go with the newest version unless there's a major price difference. I have a 2nd gen iPod touch, and the most recent upgrades really pushed it to a crawl.
DawnM
Does the 3rd generation have a camera? I love having the camera as it has replaced me carrying a small camera around. It also stores pictures in it that you take so you can whip it out and show people pictures if you need it. Dawn
Princess Peach
I don't believe there is a camera on the 3rd gen at all. Other differences have to do with RAM, processing speed, and screen resolution. Also, battery life is longer on the 4th gen.
