Miss Peregrine
Just an FYI Grass- fed ground beef It is about 8/lb delivered. There are other cuts available in a package but it is ridiculously priced at over 20/lb.
Lucy the Valiant
Ooooh! I'm waiting for Sam's to carry it, too!
frugalmama
I'm lucky - I get ours at Sun Harvest for a fraction of the cost. They sell local grass fed nearly organic beef and chicken for prices rivaling the regular meat at the grocery store IF I shop the sale items only. tammyw
Wow, that seems expensive for Costco. We buy organic grass fed, low fat ground beef for $8/lb at our local health food store (local-ish raised also).
jeri
and shipping is included. If anyone wants the name of the ranch, pm me. We've bought from them for a couple of years. They are up on the St. Lawrence River, ship pretty much anywhere in the northeast (we are in VA) and the meat is delicious! I'm getting ready to place an order for a pig. You just need a small chest freezer. Jeri
Geo
I know a couple people who raise grass-fed cattle here. Both will sell at under $3.00/lb (butchered locally) if purchasing at least a "side" (half a cow).
In the Rain
Are they selling it in stores, or just online?
