Alicia64
I haven't read the posts -- only the OP's comment. Is the person who is acting silly about thank you notes elderly? If so, it makes sense in their world. As ridiculous as it is in our world. I never would have understood this -- in the least -- until I read a really good novel called Emily, Alone. Sounds boring, but it's not. It's a really good book about this woman and how small her life is. And one of the things she does is chews on the idea that her grandkids have or haven't sent thank you's at all or on time. In some ways it's hilarious. Other ways it's sad. Other ways it shows me how I don't want to be when I hit those years. I'm sending huge compassion your way if your people are younger!
