wy_kid_wrangler04
This is a question for a friend: Teaching Textbooks (new one) or VideoText for Algebra 1 on up. If no other choices were an option. If you HAD to pick between those 2. Also-- why did you choose as you did? TIA from my friend :001_smile:
Tohru
TT 2.0 because the self grading feature and automatic feedback/tutorial are awesome!
SonshineLearner
I think you should do VideoText, and purchase it from me! :) My daughter went back to school..... :)
HiddenJewel
That's a hard one because so much of it depends on the student. I think TT would probably be a good program if used all the way up. We use VT for Algebra and dd really learned it. However, we are using something different for Geometry for dd#2 because she needs better support help than we can get for VT right now. Lolly
TT because that is what i am familiar with.;) However, the 2 version is only available on Alg. 1 for high school level maths at this time. I've heard rumors of updates to come, but until it is out I don't count on them.
curlylocks
TT -- because of the immediate correction/feedback/tutorials. (Also, I've seen too many friends go with VT and ditch it part way through...)
Julie in MN
Watch the samples of both. Try to learn what each is teaching. It's great that you can do that now. And I had a definite opinion after doing that -- VT teaching does not appeal to me.
