BethG
My son is 6 and says he wants to play cello. I'm curious what others pay per month for lessons. We've gotten quite a wide range of quotes in our area. Edited January 21, 2012 by BethG
zaichiki
It really is location-specific. If there is a local Suzuki music school or Suzuki music program (check out your local music college), I would strongly suggest them. My boys have enjoyed their weekly cello group class and both have had good relationships with their private lesson teachers as well. We :001_wub: Suzuki for young cellists! ETA: If you decide to do Suzuki cello and are willing, PM me with your location and I may be able to give you some pointers about good teachers in your area. Rhonda in TX
$160/month. 45 minutes, once a week. DD's teacher is the cello professor at a local university. He is also working on his PhD. Edited January 21, 2012 by Rhonda in TX wrong amount
Vanna
My dd is taking group lessons with our homeschool music school. Our 3 children get the family of 3 rate of $100/mo.-unlimited group classes (so, I don't know *exactly* how much the cello lessons are because they are included in the group rate). Music school meets once a week.
