Negin
since someone PM'd me and asked to start a thread. I don't have much info on Bladder Cancer. This is all I have. I highly recommend The Anti-Cancer Book. This article is by him. He recommends cruciferous veggies for this type of cancer.
Cinder
My fil died of bladder cancer many years ago. I didn't research it myself (pre-internet days), but a nurse friend said the vast majority of bladder cancer is caused by smoking. Fil had been a smoker; not a heavy smoker but he'd have a pipe or two a day. He'd had heart disease (though he was a normal weight and had low cholesterol) and (he and mil decided) he was not in good enough health to pursue chemo. He died less than 2 weeks after being diagnosed. I'm not sure what kind of info your pm'er is seeking; this is just my limited experience with it. Jennifer in MI
Just to balance a little. A friend's father has been living with bladder cancer for several years now. My dad has been living with bladder cancer for a few years now too. With treatment, he is expected to go into full remission. But, it keeps coming back. chicagoshannon
My 30 year old sister has bladder cancer. She starts chemo next week. She's an odd ball though because she got it due to being on immunosuppressants for a kidney transplant. She is otherwise very healthy and has never smoked. hearts4homeschooling
I have very recently heard excellent reports for using the herb Black Raspberry in treating cancer, specifically bladder cancer is mentioned. You can find info online about it. It is getting more difficult to find the product since it is becoming more known as an anti-cancer herb.
