mommy4ever
We started school yesterday and started to incorporate the iPad. She loves it. Of course it's novelty, but I'm going to ride that wave as long as i can. We made good time on lessons, with minimal fuss. We are needing something to help with memorization. We'd love an app to help with that. As well, is there a spelling app out there than you can input your own words? That would make her day! Heather R
Hey Neighbor! ;) I think spellingcity.com either works on ipad, or has an app. I don't know of anything off the top of my head for memorization... what are you memorizing? I've had Faith record herself reading her memory work, and then just listen to it repeatedly until she can say it along with the recording. That has worked pretty well. Sandragood1
We like SpellDown for spelling. You input the words. I make a list for each spelling lesson. SpellDown accesses audio files for the words. It will "say". The words and dd inputs the correct spelling. You can also add your own audio as well as definitions (good for homonyms).
