Snickerdoodle
We're not quite there yet, but I need to print this out for future reference. Have you tried H&M? We used to have very good luck there when we lived abroad.
abbeyej
Ds recently went from Old Navy 12 slims to Gap 12 slims. The waist is about the same, but the inseam is longer. Gap's 14slims are still slimmer than what I've found elsewhere in the same length, but Gap jeans seem bigger over all than equivalent Old Navy sizes (so larger wastes *and* longer lengths). Try the 12 slims from Gap and see if they'll work until he gets into the 14s. We've also had better luck ordering the slims in "skinny" style. Sort of a double-whammy in terms of getting a slimmer fit.

Jilly
I was just thinking about this. My son is in Gap 14 slim now. He is so skinny, and I am wondering when he gets taller where will we get pants for him. This fall I found a nice pair of dress pants and sweats from Abercrombie that came in skinny and fit him nicely. Other than that we are not having much luck.
