I'd copy them here... But, we have selected Wilson's Am Gov't 10/e (ISBN:0618556621) after having walked through the Hippocampus videos online already. James Q. Wilson is often cited as one of the great poitical thinkers of our time so I look forward to seeing what his book holds. Great year for this course! Jane Elliot Posted June 5, 2008 Share Posted June 5, 2008 I'm planning to use this 8-week plan to have my boys CLEP the course. http://clepprep.tripod.com/americangovernment/ The basic text used here (Complete Idiot's Guide) is the same one recommended in TWTM. I think this will be perfect for my 3 who need the credit and find CLEP tests motivating. (i.e. Doing it for Mom is not very motivating for some teenage boys.;)) I've also used Abeka's American government, which was perfect for my kid who had no interest in American Government and just wanted to get through it for the credit.
