Bang!Zoom!
We have to bus in everyday. You know the colorful kind of folks one can run into on those things. Yesterday was a little over the top for even me- so we are changing up our schedule to get there even earlier. There was a small group of disabled people who really loved us and would say things like, "Are you going to read stories today Ms. Patty? Can I sit and listen too?" They were sweet. But yesterday it was like uh...Dog the Bounty hunter...with no respect to language or content where a child is in earshot. It was really ick. I could have complained and threw a fit, talked to them to them straight up and confronted them...but instead I just put headphones on her and let her listen to music for the rest of the trip. We aren't doing that again, no way. And yes, this is going to be a regular group of riders as I understood it on that route and at that time. That was a bummer to hear that. Jerks just added another hour to my week. Oh well, we'll make the best of it and call it bonus study hall I guess.:auto:
Snickerdoodle
Don't move to a metropolis. We don't have a car and the stories I could tell about public transportation would curl your hair.
