TheAutumnOak
I remember hearing that there is a big jump between two levels, but I don't remember which two...I am trying to get a rough idea of when people use each level...I know that the first three levels are for elementary and the last three are for high school work, but my question is... - Are you able to go through each level in a year, or does it seem to take two years to do certain levels, and if so, which ones? I am trying to roughly plan out what I will be doing with my fifth grader in the next couple of years...I am trying to decide if I should move him to level 2 (Town Level) now, and move on from there...He has not finished the island level, but I am wondering if it is necessary and if he can move straight into town...I am also wondering if it is better to start level 4 before high school as the levels may take more than one year to finish... Sorry for the rambling and I really hope this post makes sense :glare:...I would appreciate any advice...

Capt_Uhura
THere's a big jump from Town to Voyage. We are having a gap year between the two using WWS. We're doing all of the voyage components and will read through Voyage writing book but we won't do the assignments until next year in 7th grade. TheAutumnOak
Thanks Wendy and Capt... Do you plan on using MCT until 12th grade or do you think you will finish all the levels before senior year?
EKS
There is a big jump between Paragraph Town and Essay Voyage and then between Essay Voyage and Advanced Academic Writing 1. There isn't a similar jump between the grammars.
