choirfarm
Well, my oldest said the PSAT was easier than he thought it would be which scared him a little. He said he knew how to do every single math problem and took his time. So we'll see. Now 8 weeks until the ACT. Then the SAT in March, then at least 2 maybe 3 AP exams in May. I told him this would be the worst year as far as testing. However, if he does well then maybe he wouldn't have to take ANY tests next year. Maybe just the AP tests if he wants to.. Ds is in the same place. He actually said he wonders if he got some of the math questions wrong b/c they were so easy that he couldn't imagine that they were really asking what he thinks they were asking!!! Between APs, SAT2s, SAT, ACT......yuck!
creekland
Yep, junior year is testing year. Somehow, right now, I prefer that to senior year (application year and knowing he's going to be gone the next year). Of course, I wasn't the one doing the testing. But...time flies... (and multiple essays all due at the same time while continuing school aren't a whole lot of fun for kiddo). At least we're almost done with the applications. I wanted them all in by the end of Sept, then the first week in Oct, now I'm aiming for the 21st. :tongue_smilie:
