Stacy in NJ
I'll be using it next year with my 4th and 6th grader. Here's how I plan to schedule: Monday: I provide an overview of the topic via Kingfisher. Basically, I read aloud KF, talk about significant people and events and review vocabulary. dss read corresponding section of chapter independently and answer review questions, do the map work and outline included in the AG (activity guide). Wednesday: Repeat of Monday using next section of the chapter. Friday: Add stuff to timeline and take chapter test. We'll be doing some writing assignments, via IEW, that correspond to history topics. HTH, Stacy

Laura Corin
I just do the next thing. My spreadsheet for additional materials is here. Sorry that the formatting is a bit off. I'll be using it with a 6th/7th grader who reads at a high level. I've started working on some assignments. Best wishes Laura
