JeneralMom
So my 6yo had a rough day yesterday - he had to have his skin debrided where his 2nd degree burns had started to scab over, and this morning when I changed his dressing more skin came off. He has been such a trooper, but this morning he just cracked and broke down crying. So, I decided to let them watch some videos for geography rather than doing sit-down work. We are on week 2 of China and I found National Geographic's Wild China on Netflix streaming. It is a six-part series narrated by Bernard Shaw (Theoden, King of the Rohan) and they are loving it. It is beautifully filmed and pretty gentle. Thought I would just give anyone looking for a program on China or Chinese wildlife a heads-up. melissel
Oh, your poor little guy! That just sound so hard for both of you :grouphug: Thanks for the recommendation, we've had it in our queue for awhile but hadn't gotten around to it. I'll work it in for one of our learning lunches soon!
