justLisa
DS is 7, and I purchased the MCT complete HS package. I think I am missing a concrete teacher's guide regarding what to do when/what day etc. I am NOT great at teaching language arts. I want my children to have and appreciate good language skills. DS cannot handle another dry curriculum and I believe this is a good fit for us. I am just lost as how to put together a solid daily plan. Help?! Gailmegan
WTM's Satori published her plan on her blog. http://satorismiles.com/2011/06/10/mct-island-schedule/ Many here have used it as is, or as a starting point.
Lara in Colo
MCT has a guide as to what you do first--look at that for the general guidline (start with grammar). As to a daily--we just opened the book and worked until we reached a good place to stop. Then the next day I went back a few pages for review, then forward a few pages. We loved it and the children were almost never ready to put it away every day (we probably spent 40 minutes a day). Lara
