Books for book club

Recommended Posts

One of my faves that my book club read recently is Still Alice --- an interesting book about a woman with early onset Alzheimer's disease from her perspective.

My book club read this also. Excellent. The author is a neurologist, so she was able to draw a lot from experiences with her patients.

She has another book- Left Neglected, which is also very interesting.

Our best book club discussion came from reading The Sparrow by Mary Doria Russell.

I read this one on my own, but I agree it would make a fantastic book for book group.

This year, I read Room (thanks to Julie in Austin whose review finally convinced me to read it) and The Butterfly Mosque, both of which were good for discussion.
