Mosaicmind Posted August 18, 2011 Share Posted August 18, 2011 I haven't had more than a total of about 8hrs of sleep since last Wednesday. I finally broke down and called my pain doc and told her that something needed to change. She agreed and first did a hivomat procedure on me and then we spent time talking about what my drug options were. She decided to put me on Opana ER, which is combo of morphine and oxycodone. I am to take this twice a day in addition to the Loratab I am already taking. This is my second day and I at least got some sleep last night. I will go in next week for another hivomat and then to talk about what to do next. I could opt to do another PRP, which I talked about having last week. I don't want to do another surgery right now even though it is inevitable in the near future because of my condition. I just hope this helps because I am tearing my hair out.
