home4school
New to this high school credit business, so I'm clueless. Thanks, Kim
Laura Corin
FWIW, the full series (3 books) would take you to close to British GCSE level. The nearest equivalent US level to that is the SAT II subject test. Does that help at all? Laura
home4school
So, if we do one book per year, would I be okay giving one credit per year? Thanks!
LanaTron
I've understood with the Latin prep series that the three books cover what's covered in Latin 1 and Latin 2 in the U.S. I'm thinking the Spanish (and French) are the same. So 3 books = 2 credits. But I could be wrong.
BakersDozen
I gave a full credit for this so IMO, yes. :)

kiana
As Laura said, Spanish is designed to take you to GCSE level -- Latin Prep isn't. They recommend doing So you really want to learn Latin book 3 after Latin Prep 3. You'll also notice that Latin Prep 1 is labelled for year 5+ while Spanish 1 is labelled for year 7+. Based on that, yes, I'd say it's 3 years.
