Julie in GA
I've used CW for years, and love it, but am curious about SWB's new book. Based on the description, it seems to embrace the same philosophy, but may lay it out in simpler fashion. Can anyone comment on this? TIA,
Sahamamama
:bigear: Would also like to know. Good question.
nansk
SWB's new book is Writing With Style. You should cross-post on the Logic-stage sub-forum. That is where all of the WWS users are. We use/used CW Primer and WWE1, but I don't think you are looking for a comparison of those two.
Julie in GA
It is called Writing With Ease, and you can read about it at the Peace Hill Press website.
Mallory
Well, Writing with Style is the newest book that will be released in the fall/winter and we are all eagerly waiting for. Writing With Ease has been out for a few years ;). I also think WWE and CW are very similar I have posted about it before. Here are some threads- http://www.welltrainedmind.com/forums/showthread.php?t=223735&highlight=wwe+at+heart http://www.welltrainedmind.com/forums/showthread.php?t=210575&highlight=wwe+at+heart http://www.welltrainedmind.com/forums/showthread.php?t=93298&highlight=WWE http://www.welltrainedmind.com/forums/showthread.php?t=263242&highlight=wwe+at+heart Hope that helps! Hunter
I'm wondering if Spalding users are more comfortable with CW, than those using other types of phonics and spelling. I've only had my Aesop A for a few days, but I'm finding that I understand both Spalding's integrated language arts and CW better by reading both books. Each seems to fill in the holes, that leave me feeling overwhelmed and uncertain.
Whereneverever
I compared CW Primer and WWE here.
Julie in GA
Thanks so much! I've been off the board for a couple of years, and just found out about WWE, and therefore thought it was "new." I'll check out the threads.
