plain jane
Is it worth owning a copy of Harvey's Grammar if you're working through Homer if we already plan to use R&S 5 for the year? I'm wondering if it would be a useful reference tool or just a costly waste of shelf space. TIA
SilverMoon
You can download the 1880 version for free on Google books. Here. We've only used FLL and Rod and Staff's English (starting with 5) alongside Classical Writing. We work through both R&S and CW front to back; I don't attempt lining them up. So far this has worked out fine.
chai
I wouldn't bother. Rod and Staff should be enough.
dangermom
:iagree: We are nearly done with Homer, and have done R&S with it. I've never felt the lack of Harvey's, even though we don't exactly match up.
