I remember reading somewhere that the longer plastic bottles sit in the heat the more chemicals leach into the water. Don't quote me as I can't remember the exact source - probably the local tv news station. But remember that I'm starting to get "paranoid" about plastics as I am currently planning out my high school kids environmental studies course for the Fall!
