Rebecca in VA
At least I think this is news! My son just e-mailed us his online scores from his laptop. He made a 1930 -- not thrilling by TWTM standards, but amazing for this child, who was a total nonachiever for most of his school years. Osmosis Mom
That's a wonderful number and pretty much what dd got. She scored a lot better on her ACT. She would overall had done better if her math-maturity had spiked a lot earlier, though. Is oyur ds planning on re-taking it? THey'll take the highest composites and add those. lv2sing
The score is great, but your enthusiasm is what is fantastic! I think that I have some real worries about these tests that will be coming up soon, so your wonderful example is truly blessing me! Basketmaker Amy
Great news! My 9th grader got his scores also...he's scored high enough to dual enroll at the local college next year. I am so excited that I don't have to teach him math next year! He wants to take math and French at the CC next year...and then we'll go from there! WOOO HOOO!!! langfam
Congratulations!! My 16 year old DD got a 2050. My 17 year old DS a 1560. He's pretty bummed. Poor guy, he did work hard, but he's a very poor timed-test taker. Most of his points are from the math section. I guess we'll prep him for the ACT, and if he's up to it, retake the SAT in Oct. sigh... DD can't be excited for herself because she feels bad for her brother. He's the one with all the big dreams and potential.
