SilverMoon
That's a good one! :001_smile: We used some of VB this past school year. My only beef was the reviews didn't happen frequently enough to keep the roots stuck. After filling out the sheet for a particular root I had my kids make cards (ala EFTRU) and add them to every other day memory review. Hunter
I just ordered Trivium Pursuits from CBD. I owned it years ago when I was still homeschooling my youngest. I was much more LCC back then, even though LCC hadn't been written yet :-) I learned a few tips from it, but...wasn't all that thrilled with it at the time. I'm older now, and a bit more experienced, and really interested to see what I think, this time around.
5LittleMonkeys
I think this will be dd12's vocab this year. I really like how thorough it seems to be...there is so much here and I don't have to buy 10 workbooks! I've been looking for something that doesn't tie me down to workbook type of lessons. Now, I just have to figure out how to teach it to her without having to rely on rote memorization. Could someone tell me if this is meant to be a one year course? crazyforlatin
Thanks Hunter! I was looking for something like this to accompany Henle but didn't want to spend that much. Also, I'm having a hard time using SSG so I think it's better for us to start with Greek root words and then maybe transition into Elementary Greek.
