FairProspects
I have always bought the WWE student pages download because I find it so much more convenient to print out the pages rather than ripping them out of the book. I also have like that I can print them out for younger ds when he is ready. I have already bought FLL 3 TM. But with FLL the student pages are in a separate workbook, so assuming I have 2 going through the program, is it a better deal to buy 2 workbooks or get a download of the student workbook? What do you find most convenient?
mamachanse
If you buy on Amazon, the workbook is cheaper than the PDF...and you don't have to print copies yourself. I have four who will eventually go through it and I still think with the cost of ink, paper, and time, it is cheaper to buy the hard copy each time. Unfortunately. :glare:
Pata
It's a big book, almost 400 pages, so it's not cheap to print. I did buy the pdf (for FLL 4) because it was cheaper to have it printed and bound here than to have it shipped over here. If I were in the US and just had two going through the program I would probably buy the printed workbook, it's just easier ;).
Mrs. Lilac
Can I ask, as an aside, how you all like FLL 3 and 4? We used it for K, then switched to BJU....for this coming year, I'm pondering which to do. If I do FLL, do I have to add on writing?

If I do FLL, do I have to add on writing? Honestly, FLL1 wasn't my favorite, there was so much repetition on nouns. We tried several different program in 2nd grade, but couldn't find one we liked, so we went back to FLL3, so glad we did! Dd enjoyed it much better than FLL1 and I'm impressed with how much grammar she is learning. We just started FLL4 and it's just as good as FLL3. You do need to add a writing program, but there are optional dictations in the program. Hope that helps!
