TXBeth
For the price of the CD set, I can download MP3s for the Geography Songs and the States & Capitals songs. Is it worth the extra money to have the little booklet and the wall map? I do have good world and US wall maps, but not blackline for kids to color/write on. But couldn't I just print some out on regular paper to use, or pick up a place mat? Thanks in advance! Beth
Meriwether
My kids use the CD and point to a wall map as they sing. I do like the map to have the kids color and label so I bought one for each kid, but I consider it an extra. I vote not necessary.
warneral
The songs seem to do the groupings for memory so I would think you could use your own map. I got it yesterday (with cassette which is useless at the moment) for 2.00 at a used curriculum swap. I think I might do the download audio from Amazon. The booklet does show the various region for each song with a list of the countries in each grouping, it has a little bit of information listed as well as some fill-in-the-blanks. I don't think it is necessary, but it is a nice resource.
