hollyandab
Hello, I am a total newbie to the whole learning Latin thing, so... Should I use Latin for Children or First Form Latin for my 6th grade boys with zero Latin exposure? (oh, and a zero Latin exposure mama:tongue_smilie:) Any thoughts? Thanks! SnMomof7
First Form Latin is a GREAT program - I am currently using it myself. If you want mastery of the Latin Grammar very systematically and without gaps, it is a great choice! The DVDs are really wonderful.
janainaz
First Form is a great Latin program. We've used all the earlier ones as well, and I had zero Latin exposure. It's pretty gentle. I have nothing to compare it to, but for a mom that knew nothing, I don't have any problem teaching it and keeping up.
hollyandab
Cool! I was leaning that way! Thanks! Holly in KY Mama to 11yo twin boys TOGers
brennab
I've been really pleased with Latin for Children. My boys just started it this past year, in 5th & 6th grades. It's been great for me too, as I had no Latin experience.
happy2teach
I am interested in hearing if someone has used both LFC B and FFL1. I have used LFC A this year with zero Latin exposure. My ds/10 did great with it. He gets it and enjoys the humor in it. I also like the way FFL is presented. I have not used FFL. Judging from the samples, it looks like a solid program. The lessons in the dvd are straight forward.
