Little Nyssa
Can anyone recommend a children's biography of St Augustine? Any kind, including picture book or online. Thank you!
Already Gone
Not sure if this is what you're looking for, but the Baldwin Project has Amy Steedman's collections of saints' stories online, and here's the chapter on St. Augustine (assuming you mean of Hippo?): http://www.mainlesson.com/display.php?author=steedman&book=garden&story=augustine&PHPSESSID=438c2d284579432db98314e81b7a02fc
justamouse
Augustine Came to Kent The Loyola Treasury of Saints (gorgeous illustrating and chronological listing, Augustine is pg 95 I think?)) Saints Lives and Illuminations Again, gorgeous illustrations. I found this one at my library, but only as reference (can't take it out) so you may want to try that route? Violet Crown
Augustine Came to Kent is an excellent book about St. Augustine of Canterbury, a/k/a "The Little Augustine,", a/k/a St. Austin (patron saint of a certain city), if that's the St. Augustine you're after. St. Augustine and His Search for Faith, by Milton Lomask, is a very good (but alas OOP) book in the Vision series, about St. Augustine of Hippo. I'm surprised Ignatius Press hasn't gotten around to reprinting it yet. But it can be found used cheaply.
