shougmom
We did the Civil War one earlier this year and loved it! My kids are in 4th and 2nd grade. LOVE History Pockets! :) Linda
SusanG
Thanks, I'm ordering two of them right now for this upcoming school year!
BizyPenguin
I've always thought about using HP, but never have. Perhaps this will be the year! I was also considering Time Travelers and would love to hear from someone who can compare the two.
KAR120C
I haven't tried Ancient Rome, but I can give two big thumbs up for the American Revolution and the Civil War HPs!
Novafan
That American Revolution one is going to come in handy for us next Spring. Thanks!
Mommy2BeautifulGirls
Thanks so much for this info! I wonder if this is something that is carried in the teacher store I go to. I will have to look. I'm always looking for easy things to do with my daughter, since she's only 4, but preparing to do 1st grade material. This is right up her alley! HappyGrace
than some of the earlier ones. The activities seem more geared to helping the students retain important information rather than just busywork activities like some of the previous ones were. Omma
I just ordered the Civil War History Pockets! Thanks for posting this!!! It looks like a lot of fun, even though it says it's for 4th-6th graders and my dc are just finishing up 1st and 2nd grade. Actually, this solves a big problem for me (I think!). My dd didn't want to study the Civil War anymore, but I have another month or so of material to cover for this time period... AND my 8 ds really wants to spend all this time on this topic. Since my dd loves History Pockets and hands-on activities, this one will be a perfect fit at just the right time for us. A big thumbs-up to the poster here from our family to yours!! Brenda
