DawnL
Anyone use these? The books, or just the DVDs? Did you use them along with something else, or a stand alone kinda thing? And, of course, did you like it?
fourcatmom
I am interested in knowing as well. I have seen these online and they look great. My CT said it was not a complete curriculum but it was a great extra. :bigear:
Running the race
We don't use the books, but we love the DVD's. We watch them as they fit in with the time period we're studying.
DawnL
Okay, I was thinking that was best choice, but haven't seen these in person. I will have to pick some up for history. Unless......I don't suppose they happen to be on Netflix?
Rosyl
I don't know about netflix, but I can get them through my library. Edited May 22, 2011 by Rosyl
SnMomof7
We have just the ancients DVDs. Very funny - the children love them (though I admit, I find them a bit fast!)
ABQmom
I just bought the one on Rome, and we watched it recently. The kids loved it. I agree that it was very fast paced and my first grader was lost. It worked well for my 15, 13, and 11 year old dc. We learned a ton.
DianeW88
We used them as a supplement to our curriculum. Just a fun little extra. And they are fun and my kids find them entertaining as well as educational.
