For 6 weeks of torture, I think a book is a good reward. Or take a day off and go hike somewhere pretty. To me the results of the work are their own reward. I must just be grouchy today, lol. But for ugghy, not pleasant appointments, well there I'm into out and out bribery: be good and then we go to the toy store where you can buy *1* thing.
