Lostinabook
I don't think I've seen this on the boards yet. If I'm wrong, then never mind. :) Ray at Horrible Books has Horrible Histories 20-Book Blood-Curdling Box Set for $60 right now. Since these books are usually about $8 each, I thought this was a really good deal & ordered today. My kids have LOVED the ones we've gotten from the library so I'm hoping that this will be a painless way to sneak in some additional history. Matryoshka
My kids love these. We've had the history box for a while, but recently added the science box (Bulging Box of Books) which is also on sale at Ray's now for $60 (is
Just Robyn
I pick these up now and then at Half Price Books when I see them. It's been so long since I've been to the site, can somebody tell me how much the box sets usually are? Matryoshka
I pick these up here and there at Half Price Books when I see them. It's been so long since I've been to the site, can somebody tell me how much the box sets usually are? Whoa. I just went and looked to compare at Amazon - last I looked there and at the Book Depository they were at least $80 - or more, so the $60 seemed a steal. But right row you can get brand new boxes from various Amazon sellers from low $40s and up! Buy them now before they're gone! I got my Blood-Curdling Box at an Amazon sale for under $30, but that was a while ago and I haven't seen that price for either box since. Ali in OR
I think I paid about $42 (total with shipping) last summer ordering through AmazonUK. And they came in about 2 days.
