Sort of like the Loren Pope Colleges That Change Lives argument, this measures (among other things) how students turn out rather than how they (among other things) rank going *in* like the US News ranking does. ETA: Cat in Black, you were asking about Bowdoin the other day, and this ranks the school 17th in the nation among liberal arts schools.
